Hi Gergana.......I know I've read on here before thata number of people

wouldnt choose Hanger as their first choice for a band/helmet but I happen to be

very happy with our Hanger helmet. My son got his at 6 months old and he

has been in it for three months now.

I still dont really understand what all the numbers mean. All I know is that

my sons head was very flat in the back and he started out at 102% which is very

severe. After three months he is down to 91% with the goal being to reach 80% or

close to that number. We are having about a 3% improvement per month and his

little head is looking beautiful.

I dont have any experience with the STAR or DOC bands, only Hanger, so I cant

speak for them but in my opinion, I think success rate of banding would have

more to do with how good and experienced the orthotist is rather than the actual

appliance itself.

Good luck to you

Jessie
