Should we even bother?

One of my twins, Austin, was diagnosed with plagio and tort in May 2008. After 3 denials, I finally got the approval from my insurance companyat the beginning of September. (I was going to pay out of pocket, but he met all of the criteria and they told me (wrongly, I found out, after the fact) that they wouldn't pay for it at all if they didn't approve it first, since there were no helmet places in network--which there were)

We had an appointment with Hanger on September 15, but because of Hurricane Ike, it was rescheduled until September 26th, which we went to. The helmet was supposed to be ready Friday (10/10), but I hadn't received a call, so I called them. Apparently, the scan didn't take and they have to redo it. They said this was a possibility and would call me if it were the case, but they never did. I gave them 3 numbers I could be contacted at. I am so angry, ya'll can't even imagine. It's just one thing after another. I'm beginning to think this is God's way of telling me he shouldn't get it!

So, should we even bother at this point? He'll be one next Monday (10/20). Will it even do any good now? Any thoughts or experiences are appriciated. We're supposed to get the re-scan done Wednesday. His assyms in May were 17mm for his cranial vault and 12mm for his skull base. Here's a couple of pics that I sent to my insurance company.

Thanks in advance.
