However, our insurance is denying Cranial Tech (United Health Care) b/c it is out of network. They have said they will cover a helmet from Hanger orthotics. Has anyone else had this issue? I was really looking forward to working with CT, the staff and Dr. was great. I had never really heard of Hanger before UHC told me about them. Are there any differences between the 2 helmets? The people at Hanger said they are identical. However, the prices are extrement different (Hanger is much cheaper) I am just trying to find out if a Hanger at helmet will be just as successful. I do not want to cut costs at the expense of the shape of my son's head. Any words of advice???
