Guest guest
Hi I was going through my emails and I had your email flagged.I knew I would ask you for some more info, when I read it for the first time. Can you please tell me how you got help from ECI. I called them today and left a message to contact me. I will call them again. mean while, I want to know the different steps and procedures in getting help from ECI. The only thing I know as of now is to set up a evaluation with ECI. My son is 8 months old and has both plagio and tort. We have him banded for plagio. I am trying to get an appt for his PT sometime this week. I also had his eyes tested and the Dr said he is doing fine. But the problem is he has nt started rolling over until he was 6.5 months and he still does not sit up on his own. he has not started crawling either. I check all emails from this group daily and the information is really great. Can you pls give me some info like how soon ECI will evaluate the baby and what type of evaluations they do and any paper work I have to do. Please also let me know your experience with all this process and procedures. Eagerly waiting for your reply,Chanda From: Chanda Mama <chandamamanunenu@...>Subject: My baby diagnosed with Torticollis - Need some InfoPlagiocephaly Date: Thursday, August 21, 2008, 5:21 PM Hi Until I took our baby to CT, we didn't know he had Torticollis ( Neck stiffness). I did notice his face tilt towards left but always thought that was how a baby looks. I am really worried now because I heard band treatment may not get good results if this neck stiffness is not treated. And also heard that babies with this problem have delays in developmental milestones. My baby is 6 1/2 months and has just started rolling over. We think he is strong enough to crawl or sit but he cant do them. He can not sit with out support and is not able to crawl or atleast try crawling. I am thinking to call his pediatrician and ask him to refer to a physical therapist. Has any one of you had the similar problem ? Pls respond .. Any information would be very helpful. Thanks Chanda
