Guest guest
Jess Does Luke have torticollis? If so, then he will likely be a little delayed in some of these physical developments. Guest guest
Good point - thanks Jenn. He had tort, but it's resolved and there aren't any lingering effects from it - he has full rotation and lateral flexion, but it makes sense that having had it could cause a delay... Thanks! > > > > Hi All... > > Just curious if any of you who had your LO banded at a young(er) > age > > noticed a delay in milestones that you attributed to the helmet. > Luke > > is my second, and my oldest didn't need banding - he was right on > > target with milestones like rolling back to belly and sitting up. > Luke > > will be five months tomorrow and has had his DOC Band for 2.5 > weeks. > > He's not rolling back to belly yet (his older brother did it right > at 5 > > months), and it's still a little early to expect him to sit > > unsupported... like I said, just curious to know if anyone noticed > a > > delay. Guest guest
My daughter got her band at 5 mo. I can't remember when she rolled but by 5.5 mo she was sitting, and on time for everything (walking at 10 mo). I don't think the band is much of a factor, but tort can introduce some delays from what I've read here. -christine sydney 2.5 yrs starband grad > > Hi All... > Just curious if any of you who had your LO banded at a young(er) age > noticed a delay in milestones that you attributed to the helmet.
