My husband bought a 1/4 inch thick sheet of masonite from Home depot and cut it to fit the crib. He cut it short of each side by maybe 2 inches. you can use masonite or plywood but the masonite is nicer and will not rub on the mattress. they sell many sizes so just measure the mattress and cut to those dimesions. home depot can even cut it for you. bascially it provides a solid support under the sensor that goes under the mattress. they seel the board for it online be we found it cheaper after shaipping and all to just buy it. You are going to love this monitor, it is awesome. I get alot more sleep than I did with the first kid lol. You can even turn off the motion sensor and use sound only if they are playing outside of the crib. hope that helps and good luck guys.

Hi all, (new mom to group)My son Sebastian has started wearing his helmet this week, He seemfine with it. Except for the fact that now he only wants to sleep onhis tummy face down. (he is 5months and 3weeks old) we put him tosleep on his back but he rolls onto his tummy. My husband and i are so freaked out we have not slept for the lastthree days, we just keep watching him and checking him to see if he isokay. Has anyone else had this happen with their child? Is it because thehelmet elevates his head from mattress that he is able to sleep inthis way. Does anyone have any suggestions or advice we are so desperate at thispoint we are thinking of taking the helmet off. Any help will be greatly appreciated! !ThanksMom to Sebastian and 5month 3weeks old twin
