Guest guest
Can anyone give me an idea of what their child's asymmetry number was? My daughter is 8 mm. From what I understand this is " moderate " . However, most of the flattening is lower on her scalp. I understand that this area takes a lot longer to correct - outside of the helmet. The good news is that we are in day 2 of the helmet. Day 1 was rough... but it only gets better from here. She didn't mind having it on - it was the putting on/taking off part that aggravated her. So how much time (in the helmet) is too long for the first few days? She has no significant redness or lines when we remove the helmet. Just one sweaty head! Also, we will not have her sleep in it for a few more days. I had a lady at Meijer come up to me yesterday (while was wearing the helmet) just to give encouragement. Her son had a helmet several years ago - and had terrific results. What a cool thing to hear on our very first day!
