Guest guest
, Thanks for the advice tot search old posts. I do have a question....Does Hanger do bands or only helmets????????????? It appears to me, from the pictures available here, that the Hanger helmets come down on the forehead considerably. We do not want to encroach on his field of visionif we can avoid it as he also has visual issues. I joined the Chat last night - first time I have ever chatted - and felt fairly confident that we should stay away from the passive devices. The advice gleaned there was helpful! Thanks, ladies! Guest guest
Hello. The terms Band and Helmet are often used interchangeably. The Hanger Band and the STARband do cover more of the head (and look more " helmet " -like) than the DOC band. However, most bands/helmets, will come down the forehead most of the way to the eyebrow. This is neccessary in order to help with any forehead bosing.
