Guest guest Posted August 8, 2008 Report Share Posted August 8, 2008 Hi, if the problem is from heat it will look a little bit like a rash vs solid red. you can put hydrocortizone cream on, let it dry and replace the band. Check frequently to make sure it isn't getting any worse. Also if you notice him getting sweaty you can take off the band and towel dry the band and his head whenever needed. It takes them a few days or so to adjust their body temp. If you see the spot is getting worse, keep the band off until you can get it checked. I wouldn't let him sleep in it until you figured out what kind of problem it is (just heat, or a fit problem that requires adjustment). -christine sydney 2.5 yrs starband grad > > My son got his band yesterday.
