How much rotation is okay?

My son is 7 months but was 7 weeks early so his adjusted age is 5 1/2

months. He has a mild case of plagiocephaly so we decided to go with

a Hanger Cranial Band. I have been very happy with our service so

far. My son had really gotten use to it a lot quicker then I thought

he would but I am concerned because the band rotates when he lies on

it causing it to be right up against the front of his left ear. Just

right where the ear meets the head. It leaves a red mark but the mark

goes away shortly after the helmet is removed. Yesterday we went in

for an adjustment and it really is not much better. The othotist said

that a little rotation is okay. Should I except this or should I go

back for another adjustment? It really has not seemed to bother him

but tomorrow will be the first time we will try it for 23 hours and

tonight is the first night he is going to bed in it. What do you think?
