We bought a twin memory foam on sale at Target for 20 bucks. I cut a

piece to fit my son's crib matress but he actually sleeps better with

just a cushy blanket under him. Like a comforter type cushy blanket.

(I tucked this in securely so he could not get under it or it on his

face. His face clears it easily even when laying on his tummy.) He

does however love the memory foam in the pack and play and even after

he's out of his band I will leave that in. I also use various pieces

around the house anytime he's laying down on his band to cushion a

bit. The more he got used to his band though the less we used it.

Zach is 11 months old and has been in the DoC band for 4 months. We

are currently being fitted for band number 2. He still measures 18mm

though we saw some good correction with his first band despite issues

caused by his head shape.

bad in her Pack N Play...she woke up a lot. I'm sure the memory foam

will make that much more comfortable.

wearing a helmet. I figure if my son is crying and getting all worked

up that he is going to end up sweating and then having to sleep in a

sweaty band. My son is currently between helmets. He gets #2 on Wed.

> When he was in his first helmet he was (9-12 months old at the

time) he was getting up about once a night. Towards the end he was

almost sleeping all the way through, making it to about 5 am. Since

he has been out of band #1, he has been sleeping through the night. I

guess the real test will be when he gets his second helmet this week.

and the helmet that is keeping your daughter from sleeping through.

Some people on this board have put memory foam on the crib mattress

to help their LO's get comfortable sleeping. I did not do this the

first time around but probably will now that my little guy is older.

Sorry that this post doesn't offer much advice other than that. Maybe

someone else will chime
