Also, I used J & J time release baby powder - just the lightest sprinkle in the band and then I rubbed it around - i felt it helped absorb the sweat and smell. But the band providers say to only use rubbing alcohol. HTH! My doc. told me to try Wintergreen scent rubbing alcohol. It works great! His helmet smells minty after I clean it. Also, the blueberry shampoo thing works well.
