My son's hair grew a ton while he was in the band. He had a ton from day 1

and it never went away. A lot of infants do tend to lose their baby hair,

banded or not, and sometimes the band just speeds up the process.

my childs hair is as long as ever...she loses a few pieces of hair here and there but it is thicker than before she got the band.

Some babies it slows the growth just while banded. In my daughters case her hair actually grew faster.
