what did the neurosurgeon do in the exam of your child's head?

My neurosurgeon looked at my son's head and then measured the circumference, but

did not take any other measures. I volunteered the measurements that the

orthotics place gave me, but I thought he would have been more thorough. He

then went onto say that they seemed on the mild side and if they (my son and

daughter twins) were his children he would not put them in helmets, but then he

gave me a prescription, since I wanted them in helmets.

Any thoughts?
