Guest guest
Hello everyone! My name is Faith Marchant. I just had my first appointment at Cranial Technologies in Clinton yesterday. I have twins Chase and Paige who will be 4 months on Nov. 19th. They have Torticollis and have shaping issues with their heads because of this, their twinness and their premature birth (they were 4 wks early). I have worked really hard to give them round shaped heads with my own devices, but because of their neck condition and so forth, that is just not to be. They are in physical therapy though, and are doing great! Anyways, we had our consultation yesterday, and are just waiting to get insurance approval stuff over with, but I was told there would be no problems with ours. I am just curious about the best ways to paint and decorate the bands. Thanks!
Guest guest
Hello Faith, welcome to the group. It can be really hard to fight plagio when tort is present. The band will be so much easier for you than trying to do it by repo. You'll still need to work on the tort, but their heads should improve fairly quickly once you band, especially because your babies are young and growing fast. stickers are the easiest way to decorate, but people also paint docbands. you'll probably get some replies, but also check out the Files section for the group - I think there are some tips there. -christine sydney, almost 3 yrs, starband grad > > Hello everyone! Guest guest
Hey Faith, I don't know if you remember but right before you brought your twins in my daughter and I came out. Her name is Tori and you were asking me about the stickers on her band. Just wanted to welcome you. Where are you from? Do you have to travel far? I love this group and Im sure you will too. I was so surprised my insurance approved the band in one day. We have Husky A. Well just wanted to say hi and its nice to put a name to a face. Guest guest
I absolutely remember you! Like you said, it's so nice to have a name to go with the face! I saw Tori's pic on the website and she looked adorable!!! We live in Naugatuck, so it takes us a little over an hour to get to C.T. I am so glad to have someone to know personally now, whom I can speak to about the DOC Band. Let me know if you ever want to chat on the phone!
