Guest guest
Well it seems like no matter how nice they are, they definitely dropped the ball. I think if you to keep your mind open to treating your son with top tier providers, you would immediately notice the difference and have your confidence restored. When my son's DOC band was made he sat in room with digital imaging cameras that took a shot of his head from every angle. Those were then used to make a digital composite of his head which was then used to make a mold of his head to scale. From three a design team made the band using this mold. They use the mold so that it is actually like having your son sit in front of them to make and have him try it on so it is a perfect fit. I understand if you don't want to go through that though, if you want to close the book and let him be as he is. A helmet that is too small is a serious issue and I am really sorry that happened to you and your son. I hope you give it another try!Mom to Elijah DOC Band grad & undergoing CSTP.S. I think 3 weeksfollow up is a bad sign. Sometimes appts are scheduled 3 wks apart, but for a new band I would expect to be seen sooner to make surethings are going okay. We had a follow up after 1 wk for a starband. Our other appt were 2 to 3 wks apart, but that initial check wasimportant. Also if you're already getting the feeling that he's not on top ofthings that is bad. Your baby will be in this band for several monthsand you want to be confident in the person you're working with. Whereare you located?
