Guest guest
We graduated from the DOC band today. My son is 10 months, and was in the band for 15 weeks. His measurements before/after are: cephalic index: 90.21/89.8 standard deviation 3.31/1.8 cranial vault asymmetry: 12mm/5mm mid-face asymmetry: 3mm/2mm skull-base asymmetry: 5mm/3mm Are these numbers within the normal range? I have been having a hard time finding what the numbers " should be " . If someone has some standard ranges that you can share, that would be helpful. I know he has changed a LOT, but I can still see the plagio and the bracy, but it may be just because I am " looking for it " . And, I'm really not sure what " normal " is anymore. Thanks! Guest guest
Brachycephaly severity is measured by the Cephalic Ratio or Index ideal ratio - 78% normal - 73-83% moderate - 83.1% to 87.9% severe - 88% and higher You have made good correction in the asymmetry of the head. Plagio severity: 0-3 mm is normal <6 mm is very mild 6-10 mm is mild 10-15 mm is moderate 15+ mm is severe Molly Novato, California Nicolas, 2.5, tort & plagio, STARband (CIRS Oakland) 4/24/06-9/12/06, Graduate! , 5.5 , 8.5 Graduation....still some questions. Guest guest
I think he looks great! I see definite improvement on his right side. His end numbers fall within CT's standard of " normal " range. Congratulations! Jake-2 (tort resolved/rt plagio/DOCBand #2 1 week to go!!!)
