Guest guest
Another book people rave about is 'Happiest Baby on the Block' Dr. Harvey Karp. Personally I think any kind of schedule or CIO method is useless until around the 6 month mark or later. When they are younger there's no manipulation on their end so they aren't learning anything. Follow their cues and you'll be better off than following any kind of 'baby training' type book. On the other end, I find attachment parenting to go too far in the opposite direction. I say get well read and use parts of various methods that works best for you and your family. That's my opinion anyway. As for the question, Babywise is from the book " On Becoming Baby Wise. " It's very controversial as it's very strict about scheduling babies from birth. Here's an article expressing concerns with such a strict schedule forced upon those so young. http://www.ezzo.info/Aney/aneyaap.htm Mom to Elaine (Twin A) helmet for 4 weeks On Thu, Nov 6, 2008 at 8:18 PM, Roper <sbmcd15@...> wrote: Can anyone educate me as to what Babywise is?
