Guest guest
, I would do this surgery over and over again without hesitation if that was necessary in order to get to where I am today. Its the best thing I have ever done for myself and life is so much better as your weight comes off and you get more energy to do the things you havent been able to do in so long. Even buying new clothes now is a real thrill! Even though I have 18 more lbs to go, 8 of that will come off with the TT so the other 10 lbs will be totally me but Dr Welker said he was confident that with another year in my window it WILL come off. Im not concerned about it becuz Im now in size 12 (can get into a 10 but its tight) comfortably even at 158 lbs whereas when I was 20 I weighed 125 to fit into size 12! Amazing!!! Just remember hon, that after surgery its rough for awhile but once you get over that rough spot, things get alot better and before you know it, you are eating normally of all the foods you much loved prior to surgery without having to worry about regain. For the first time in your life you will not have to count calories! nor fat grams! Nor DIET! You will begin to LIVE-IT!! Some of your tastes will change for the better (like for me, apple juice is just too sweet so I have to dilute it and I no longer like ice cream!) Remember, when you feel nervous, Im there holding your hand! Hugs, Judie
Guest guest
I weight 174, but if I never lost another pound I would still be happy with what I have now. Teri>>>> Thats a great attitude, Teri! I feel the same way......Id love to lose another 10 lbs over the 15 I have left to go but if I dont , thats ok.....heck, where we are now is so much better than where we were just a few months ago! hugs, Judie
