Guest guest
Your orthotist should not be someone you should be scared to talk to. Ask her what is going on. Often there will be gaps of little growth and then there are growth spurts where they will grow very quickly. It really varies, but there is nothing you can do to speed up the process. Although, three months with no improvement in asymmetry should have you asking what the story is. Every baby is different. Ask her if she is expecting to wait it out for a longer growth period, or is this unusual. Hang in there. Guest guest
Do you see Bob at CIRS (or I'm mixing you up with someone). If so ask him to show you on the computer where the new growth is. From the scan the can compare the new scan with old and see where the growth is going by showing a 3d model of the head. There is some margin of error if they don't align the scans the same way. If you see this all the growth (which I think is shown in blue) should be in the flat area where correction is needed. If you send me the page with overlapping lines, I can tell you what I think :-) Maybe scan it in. I'm assuming you mean the starscan report. I would also ask him point blank if he thinks a new band that fit better would provide more correction. It seems to me that in 3 mo there must be some decent growth. Hopefully you are doing your part and keeping it on for 23 hours a day, but I would really expect to see more in this time. -christine sydney 2.5 yrs starband grad > > Hi everyone, It's been almost three months since my son got his > helmet.
