First day in Doc Band - Need some tips and advise

hi there Finally we got our 7 month baby into band today. I can't say how bad I felt when they put band on his little head. I wish I had done something when he was diagnosed with plagio in his second month. Anyway, my baby is feeling very uncomfortable in the band from morning. He has been trying to take it off with his hands. I removed his band and checked for any red/pink spots. I see nothing but he is sweating a lot. His hair was all wet in just 3 hours. He has been sleepy from morning but could not sleep in his band. I could n't see him crying so I have it removed for now. I have some questions. How soon a baby can adjust or just forget he has a band on? Any tips to make them comfortable and forget about the band ? Also I need some tips to keep the baby cool.Is it common they sweat a lot on the first day ? Please advise. Eagerly
