Guest guest
Last night was our daughter's first night in her DOC Band. The people at the office were great at educating us on what to expect. I assumed that this morning, when she woke up and we removed her helmet that there would be some intense red spots. To my surprise, there were no red spots at all in the pressure areas. There was, however, a dent where the helmet comes up over her head on the right side. Is this normal? My first thought is " Oh no, no red spots means it's too big " and then I'm thinking " They didn't tell me about dents " ...Also, I don't know if any of you guys were using Babywise with your little ones, but if you did, can you please let me know how adjusting to this and keeping your Babywise theories all played out? Thanks! Jeanne-Marie PS...I posted Kaylee's first picture under the K album. It should be one of the last photos.
Guest guest
I ATTEMPT to do BW with my daughter, but she is a short napper, so it's a challenge. Nothing has really changed with her schedule, with the exception of night wakings. She is waking about 3 times after she goes to bed at night. She didn't STTN before she got the band, but she was only getting up 1 time. Her naps are not affected at all (she was a short napper before the band), but her night time sleep has been affected. There is a Babywise Mom's group...are you a member? If not, you should join..it's a great resource! -Shari Mom to Lily - STAR Band for 5 weeks From: mrsjmgrewe <mrsjmgrewe@...>Plagiocephaly Sent: Thursday, November 6, 2008 12:55:19 PMSubject: First Night...dents, red spots and Babywise Last night was our daughter's first night in her DOC Band.
