Guest guest
I am in for helping fighting United Healthcare to cover cranial caps. I am at my second appeal level and plan to go to the Texas Insurance Board. We need to find how what happen in California because there were some lawsuits. Anyone know anything about that and where to find info? I also thinking pushing action on behalf of the Amercian Pediatric Association would be to our advantage. Once they acknowledge the process and check for head development issues when they do their exams then it does show a cause. I think the frustration for me is to obtain research about the development and physical causes of plagiocephaly but if you are not a member to that certain association or journal you have to pay. Since I work at a University I am going to see if we have such memberships to obtain the research, etc. I AM NOT GIVING UP!!! I saw two babies at my son's daycare that needed cranial caps but their parents could not afford them and could not get a loan because of their finances being stretched, bad credit, etc. One boy has a head like a football and the other like a cone! These babies should not have to live like that because of the insurance companies!!!! Trish Quinones Arlington Texas Mother of , 11 months. Doc Band wearer for 4 months. He just got his cap off this week! Yeah!!!!!!
