GOOD idea! We went on vacation last week my daughter did REALLY bad in her Pack N Play...she woke up a lot. I'm sure the memory foam will make that much more comfortable.Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerryFrom: Cecily Chudacoff <cvchudacoff@...>Date: Mon, 3 Nov 2008 15:16:55 -0800<plagiocephaly >Subject: RE: Not STTN - is it worth trying to train her to STTN while she has STAR Band? that's what we did.. and I cut the leftovers into a bunch of smaller "pillows" to use all over the house... and I'm actually going to try to fit/tape them together to fit the travel crib for a trip we're taking this week.. good luck! With regards to using Memory Foam, do people just buy a twin mattress topper & cut it to fit a crib mattress? -ShariMom to Lily - STAR Band for 4 weeksFrom: "dlcfamily1juno" <dlcfamily1juno>Plagiocephaly Sent: Sunday, November 2, 2008 7:36:42 PMSubject: Re: Not STTN - is it worth trying to train her to STTN while she has STAR Band? I am not a fan of CIO. I am particularly not a fan of CIO while wearing a helmet. I figure if my son is crying and getting all worked up that he is going to end up sweating and then having to sleep in a sweaty band. My son is currently between helmets. He gets #2 on Wed. When he was in his first helmet he was (9-12 months old at the time) he was getting up about once a night. Towards the end he was almost sleeping all the way through, making it to about 5 am. Since he has been out of band #1, he has been sleeping through the night. I guess the real test will be when he gets his second helmet this week. IMHO (since you asked for opinions) it is probably a combo of age and the helmet that is keeping your daughter from sleeping through. Some people on this board have put memory foam on the crib mattress to help their LO's get comfortable sleeping. I did not do this the first time around but probably will now that my little guy is older. Sorry that this post doesn't offer much advice other than that. Maybe someone else will chime in.____________ _________ _________ _________ _________ _________ _________ ______A New Way to Get Free Discounted Offers -- FreeInternet. com!
