Guest guest
With our first DocBand they told us that day that it was the final adjustment and that the next time we came in he would be done. In our case, we didn't get all the correction we wanted but he had been wearing it so long (nearly 4 months) that it was no longer working as well as it was when he first got it. They explained to us that after a while and after many adjustments, the band just doesn't hold as well. After two weeks of debating, DH and I decided to go forward with a second band. We are hoping that starting over with a new band (and with any luck a growth spurt), we will get better results. _____________________________________________________________Click here to find the perfect banking opportunity! Guest guest
We knew about three weeks ahead of time. We went in for an adjustment and the ortho shaved out the foam and got all the way down to the shell of the helmet. Once that happens you know that the band is only good for another two or three weeks because adjustments can no longer be made once that happens. Molly Novato, California Nicolas, 3, tort & plagio, STARband (CIRS Oakland) 4/24/06-9/12/06, Graduate! , 5.5 , 9 any warning? My daughter is in a DOCband and my husband and I are really anxious to be DONE. I was wondering if they give you an idea of when it will be off ahead of time or if at one appt they just say your done. Those of you who have graduated kids please let me know how they told you. Thanks Tori-DOCband 4 weeks ------------------------------------ For more plagio info
