I know it can be nerve racking while your child is in a band. Spencer was in his DOC band for 12 weeks, he started wearing it around 5 1/2 months. I know there have been some kids that have been in a band as short as 6-8 weeks. The next time you are at your appointment, I would ask your clinician what the expected wear time is. They generally have a idea of how long your child will be in it. How old is your daughter? I do know that the younger they are, generally they don't have to wear it as long as old kids do.

Hope this helped :)

[sPAM] any warning?

My daughter is in a DOCband and my husband and I are really anxious to be DONE. I was wondering if they give you an idea of when it will be off ahead of time or if at one appt they just say your done. Those of you who have graduated kids please let me know how they told you.ThanksTori-DOCband 4 weeks

I had an appt today and the clinician told me that she thought that Tori would only be in it for 2 more weeks so im so excited. she said that she would say 3 just to be on the safe side. i hope tori gets one more good growth spurt in the next two weeks so that we can be done...im so done myself...lol i just love her bare little head and cant get enough of it when we have the hour off in the evening...its like my whole family is sad to see it go back on her cause she is such a sweet looking little girl without it....she deff looks more like a baby with it on. thanks for the help
