painting overtop of colored helmet

Thanks to those who welcomed me the other day and answered my

questions. We went to StarCranial and feel comfortable with them. We

are awaiting insurance approval and will proceed with or without it.

So two weeks from now he should get scanned for his Starband to be

made. His asymmetry is 9mm and he does have some facial asymmetry as

well as an off-set ear.

I'm getting excited about decorating his Star band and wondered if

anyone has a colored helmet and then painted over top of that. I am

considering getting a blue one, then want to have options to paint it

other colors for the seasons, etc.. Anyone have trouble with paint

covering? Should I just stick with white?
