Welcome to the group!

I have heard many success stories with older babies. As for waking your daughter up during the night- no it is not necessary. If she has a really sweaty head in the morning, I would just give her a bath. We had a DOC Band, and in the beginning, yes it seemed like there was a little bit of extra room. To my understanding the extra room allows the head to grow with the band.

Best of Luck....

[sPAM] New to all this plagio stuff

Hi, I am the mom of a 15 month old, Ella. Her head is probably not assevere as a lot of the pics I see, but we still just got theStar-Band. We did not get a choice on which helmet to get. Hopingthis is going to show some result seeing we are very late and it's notsevere. We would have done this a lot sooner, had the pediatriciantold us not to wait it out. We repositioned and did tummy time, butsomething was just never right. I know all results are different, but wondering a couple questions... *Wondering what peoples results at this age are? *The prostetic guy told us to keep her head dry by taking it off anddrying her hair. So about every 1 to 2 hours, I have to go throughthat routine. Tonight is her first night with it on fully. I know bynow she's probably sweaty, but not really bad. Should I be waking herto dry it off? *Is it supposed to be a bit lose in the beginning? The reason I'm asking here is because I don't have a check up untilnext week. Also, there isn't much plagio in our small town, so theprostetic guy doesn't know much. It kind of worries me, but there wasno other choice in town. Anything helpful you can tell me would be just great!!! Thanks!!~Kristi
