I have no experience with Lerman and Son in LA but I can tell you that my daughter has been in a local helmet from Eastern Cranial Affiliates for 3 and a half months and her results were awful. We are starting all over again with the DOC band and I already feel much better about it all. if you feel like your son is not improving or even getting worse despite of good growth, trust your mommy instinct and move on to the next and better option. Just my opinion.

I have heard bad things about a small provider in LA, being so close to where I live in San Diego I hear a lot of the chatter. I don't know the name of the place but if there is only one place in LA then it would have to them. I heard this helmet made the child's head worse.The Doc band doesn't pressurize the skull it just holds the out of proportion spots and redirects the growth to flat areas. However, they are unilaterally the most qualified treatment providers. The Starband would take second place. While I have no doubt there have been successes with smaller providers it seems that they make a lot of mistakes and may further complicate the condition leaving the child with less time to achieve good correction from a DOC band or Starband. This is highly unfortunate but true. If you feel that there is a problem with your son's ortho or band,

i havent gone to them but I took my son to Stellar p & o in pasadena and had a great experince with them
