I know the first time we gave Josh his epsom salt bath, and again after a

brief period of no salt in his bath due to running out, he was HORRIBLE.

Screaming, crying, insomnia, hitting, destructiveness.. But after his bath

the next day he was fine, and is fine as long as we're consistant about it.

Same happened after starting SNT, but has since stopped and he's taking it

just fine every morning. I don't know why, I thought I'd pass on my little

bit of knowledge..

I am asking for help on behalf of someone else who wrote that her son

had a bad reaction to Super Nu Thera, and epsom salt baths. He became

hyper, out of control, etc. She suspects phenols. I didn't think SNT

was phenolic and don't know about the baths.

I know some kids do have a reaction to the epsom salt baths but does

anyone know why??? Is it a sulfur thing? or a magnesium thing? Any

advice to pass along? Quit the baths, supplement with something?

Thank you,

.

I know it's one of those sulfate/sulfite things that n or some one with

more technical knowledge on the subject than me can answer better. I would

say that if you see a strong reaction, that's grounds to continue the baths.

It means that toxins are coming out of the child. Use two cups of Epsom

Salts in a bath that is as hot as is appropriate for the child for about 30

minutes. Try to make the child sweat. That's the key.
