What will get peds more serious about this. Sadly a lot of people on this forum are being told "don't worry." Remember that most physicians nowadays are restricted to 15 min per child. This allows for very little anticipatory guidance. And I hate to break it to you, but most pediatricians do not have a firm grasp, or special training, in development. I happen to have a residents or medical students with me weekly and those folks are well trained. Developmental medicine is an elective I believe. Walsh, RPTWondering what's for Dinner Tonight?
