Hi,

to be honest Merry's head shape is still not very good. It doesn't

seem much better than it was a few months ago. If I remember correctly

you got a starband but have been adjusting it yourself since there is

no local provider. If this is the case I would just quit now. It

doesn't seem to be working well, and you certainly don't want to

create any problems. I am sorry not to be more positive, but I felt it

was important to give you an honest opinion.

Thanks.I just feel like what you think.I am just not so sure.I am

talking with my ortho. I will make an appointment with him.I am

checking whether there is still any hope.I don't know why the ortho

definitely thinks Merry is good.

Your daughter's head looks exactly like mine! Lily was almost 10

months old when she got her helmet, and she is now almost 16 months

old. Your before and after photos of Merry look like they could be

Lily. And I'm asking myself the same question. We have an

appointment on Thursday, and I'm thinking it might be time to say

goodbye to the helmet. She got down from 17mm to 4mm, and her ortho

thinks we might not get much more improvement. Of course, as a mom,

I'd like to have completely solved this problem for her, but I'm

satisfied now with the way her face looks, and that might have to be

enough. I know that's not really helpful advice, but at least you

know you're not alone. I'll be watching this message string to see if

anyone else has good advice for the both of us!

oh,whether you believe it or not, our experiences are just too

similar.Merry got the local helmet at 10 mon old and now she is 16.5

mon old too (so like Lily!).But Merry has no much facial problems.Would

you show me some Lily's before and after pictures? And please let me

know what's your ortho's answer.I also want Merry to be free from

helmet. It is too hot!And Merry refuses to stay in airconditioned

rooms.I want she to be happy and free outside. That's what a child

should enjoy. And I hope you and other parents who have the similar

quenstions will feel free to post here or email me.Thanks.Thanks.
