Guest guest
We met with Cranial Tech Monday the 14th and got his scan done to have his band made. The clinician let us know that he would definitely need two bands and maybe a third. They are so expensive, but I really think they are going to be worth it. All the little babies I saw in office wearing their bands were happy and unfazed by it. We did apply for the grant that was posted here. We are still being considered but I do believe that we will receive it for the 40% of cost that the insurance does not cover. Thanks again to all the parents here that gave me feedback on the Doc band. The Cranial Tech people are going to be doing a story on Zackary's experience with his other band for their pediatrician's newsletter. This will help educate pediatricians on ill fitting bands and the consequences of children wearing them. This makes me happy I documented everything with pictures. I'll make sure to get a copy and post it when they do. Thanks Lou Ann
Guest guest
Can you remind us again why Zack is switching bands to a DOCband? I can't recall if/where you had a bad experience elsewhere. Guest guest
Hi Lou Ann- Glad to hear you're moving ahead with Cranial Tech. I really hope this band (and the second) will do the trick. And it's great that they're going to do a study on Zach, hopefully it will educate some more peds on the affects and treatment of plagio. Please keep us posted on his progress. Best of luck to you!
