We had a huge change in the first 5 weeks my son was in his band (12.2 mm

down to 7 mm). After that we had 9 weeks with very little change then

another growth spurt in the last 6 weeks in the band. He finally graduated

at 4.6 mm.

SOOO EXCITED!!

SO MY SON STARTED HIS HANGER HELMET ON MAY 27TH, AND WE WENT FOR A

CHECK UP yesterday on june 20th TO MEASURE AND TAKE PIC AND HIS HEAD

HAD ALREADY CHANGED.. I HAD NOOO IDEA THAT IT WOULD CHANGE THAT FAST..

HE SAID THAT IT HAS A 3MM DIFFERENCE ALREADY WHICH IS GREAT and you can

sctually see a difference in the pic!!! THE DOC SAID THAT IF HE GROWS

THAT 3MM EVERY 3WK CHECK UP, WE CAN GET THIS THING OFF BY AUGUST...

THAT IS SUCH A RELIEFE!!! I REALLY HATE THIS THING, BUT I KNOW HE NEEDS

IT SO I STICK WITH IT, BUT I THINK EVEN IF WE DONT GO ALL THE WAY TO

THE HELMETS REQUIRMENTS, I AM GOING TO STOP IT SEPT 1ST!!! this is

wayyyyy cool!!!

i wanna know when you guys started seeing results or when the

measurments started changing??

I am unsure how old your son is but my son had a doc band at 4 months and we went each week for adjustments (not every three weeks which seems long to me). We also had a 3 mm change the first week and about a 2 mm-3mm change each week therafter ending 8 weeks after banding almost completely correcting a 15 mm issue.

I am happy that you are very happy with the 3 mm but I do not know the age of your son. If he is older I would think that would be okay progress but if he is younger than I would hope for a bit more. Good luck and keep us posted. Tammy
