New to the helmet

So today officially ends my daughter adjustment period with her

helmet. They had me do hourly helmet wearing to adjust her to it. She

has been doing well with naps but tonight is the last night she will be

helmet free. My girls aren't great sleepers to begin with and I am

afriad tomorrow night will be so uncomfortable for her.

It will also be her first full day 23 hours with the helmet. It is

also made harder for her becasue her twin sister is so curious about

what is on her sisters head, she is always trying to pull at it. Now

since she will have it on all the time I won't be able to leave them to

play for even a moment by themselves.

I really am glad that I found this group it is ncei to just be able to

post my feelings and nervousness for my daughter and myself. There

were so many times already that I wanted to just take it off of her cuz

I could see how hot she was or cuz she seemed uncomfortable, I don't

know how I am going to make it everyday. I just keep telling my self

it is for the best and someday she will thank me for taking care of her

plagio. I jsut wish I noticed it sooner than 5 1/2 months. We didn't

get the referral to the Ortho til 6 months and then had to wait for an

appointment and then one more for the casting. I look back at pics and

try to see when it started but I can't see that either.

Oh well atleast I am takign care of it now.
