Guest guest
Hi Tena/Diamond, I am in total agreement with you as to being able to express ourselves here. I think you should be totally free to ask your questions here, especially since they seem to be about what to expect from LDN, and like me, looking for personal experiences. That said, if you are looking for MS support that is not specifically about LDN, here are some ideas -- you may want to look at " mscured " on , which covers a wider variety of topics about curing MS, including but not limited to LDN. For even more general support about MS there are of course things like the MS Society's chat room and Jooly's Joint, which also has chat rooms and pen pals. Specifically, as to your question about cognitive problems, I haven't had any serious problems in that area, but I do notice I am more prone to mispelling words on occasion, which was never a problems before. I don't know if it's due to MS, LDN, or simply anxiety over being in this situation (having MS). Here is my general expereince with LDN: I became symptomatic with MS in October 2006, with symptoms of bladder problems, numbness, and the beginning of feeling like my vision wasn't quite right. I went on LDN in late December 2006, 4.5mg. My vision continued to deteriorate over the next couple weeks while on LDN but then stopped getting worse -- but has not gotten better either. My bladder symptoms have gotten better since LDN but are not 100% back to normal. My numbness is much better, but also not 100% back to normal. I developed one new symptom since being on LDN--- that is electrical shock feelings in various parts of my body. The feelings come and go and only last a second or so. Some days I get this feeling as much as 15 or so times, some days not at all or just once or twice. Not too bad lately. All in all, I am satisfied with LDN. There's no way to know how I'd be doing without it. I was having a lightheaded feeling for quite a while the past several months and I thought that it might have to do with being on an antidepressant--which I went on after getting sick. So I went off the antidepressant and the lightheadedness has cleared up. I am still mispelling words sometimes. .. > > > > > > HI, JUST LIKE THE PERSON BELOW I AM A NEWBIE , REFERED HERE FROM > > ANOTHTER GROUP .
