Read the LDN Website www.ldninfo.org or www.low dose naltrexone.org

also here is the Introductory Side Effects when starting LDN -

Introductory Side-effects: There may be some initial transient, though temporary, increase in MS symptoms during the adaptive period when the LDN is first introduced. This usually lasts no more than one week but if symptoms are severe, or more prolonged, then the initial dose of 1.5 for a month, 3 for a month, then 4.5 until the anticipated improvements begin to develop.

Introductory symptoms, on starting this treatment, may include such as disturbed sleep, occasionally with vivid, bizarre and disturbing dreams, tiredness, fatigue, spasm and pain.

Symptoms related to increased endorphins: These may include such as nausea or constipation. These symptoms diminish naturally as the body adjusts to the increased endorphin level.

Symptoms related to previous Opiate use: On starting LDN the recent use of opiate analgesics will result in an opiate withdrawal syndrome, with increased pain, spasm, vomiting and diarrhea. These symptoms may be prevented by stopping all opiate analgesics at least two weeks before starting the LDN.

Crystal,

Thank you for sending me this information. I have had the overwhelming fatigue but yesterday I had this sense of well-being that I have not felt in years. It only lasted for awhile but it really felt nice.

This is not knew.I am told it takes a while before ldn bulds up in your body.I hope this info helps you.I will keep taking it cause my friend feels better now and swears by it she is on it now five years. Its great to have a tablet.

I have been on LDN for three months and I have an increase in numbness and tingling and even an itching sensation basically from head to toe. I had the LDN "muscle tested" by my allergist and I know I am not allergic to it. Is there anyway to get rid of the sensory numbness and tingling. I have tried B coplex, B-1, B-6, L Carnatine. Thanks abehring <abehring@...> wrote: Clare,

I have numbness in my feet and legs after tx from lymphoma of the

brain. I take 100 mg B6 and 900 mg of alpha-lipoic acid-300mg 3/day.

If I miss a day of the alpha-lipoic acid my numbness and tingling

get a lot more severe so I know the A-L acid helps a lot.

Also I skip a day or so a week of the B6 since I also take a regular

multi-vitamin. Another important supplement is Beta glucan and every

one should take this. A good web site is youngagain.org. This guy

Mason is a little radicle but he offers free books and

articles on his web site that are very informative and highly backed

by research.

Also I have been on LDN for 4 mo. and I went from staying up 3-4

hours a day to staying up most of every day. Since my stem cell

transplant two years ago my lymphocytes have been low but after 3

months on LDN there were normal Praise God for that.

I hope this helps.
