I would like to decorate my daughter's band. She is getting it on

October 6th. I don't want to have to paint but am interested in using

stickers. Does anyone have any suggestions on what sticker brands to

use and how to keep them on the longest.

I used all different kinds of stickers on my son's DOC band. I think the key to having them last is to either apply a clear coat of finger nail polish over the top (all though this way can be more permanent.) I used a coat of mod podge over the top of the stickers. If you do decide to use paint, use the acrylic paint with a mod podge finish (you can also put stickers on with the paint). This is a non permanent way to paint the band. Once you decide you want to change themes on the band, all you have to do is peel off the paint.

Happy decorating!

I used regular paper backed stickers from the craft store and nothing else. I didn't want to deal with modge podge or varnish chipping off. Our first set of stickers lasted almost 6 weeks. The second set has been on almost two weeks. When it was time to change the stickers I carefully peeled them off and removed any leftover residue with the rubbing alcohol I use to clean the inside of the helmet with. Now that we are coming to the end of treatment (hopefully 3 more weeks) I wish I would have changed them more often. Good luck and have fun with it.
