Guest guest
Excellent advise , Just in case the Cranberry Capsules do not work for some, I have found the cranberry juice to be the most effective for me and for my girls. We always seem to get bladder infections if we drink too much fresh juice without watering it down. We also get yeast infections after taking antibiotics, unless we take Acidophilus along with it. Drink distilled water only. No cola's, coffee or juices.

It is EXTREMELY tart, but I like it mixed with mineral water (but then you have to drink more.)
Guest guest
Aletha You don't mean you take acidophilus with th antibiotic do you? I heard you should take them a couple hours away from each other so they don't cancel each other out. Is this your understanding? be well Arlene --------- [low dose naltrexone] Re: LDN >> I'm going to the Dr. this afternoon for what I believe is a bladder > infection. It seems to happen fairly often. Guest guest
A UTI put me in the ER and got dx of MS from an Urologist who suspected history of infections. The infection causes weakness , loss of balance, urinary burning, etc. Stress can bring on the infection in less than hour for me. MS is infamous for UTI. Local herbalist mixes " bladder tea " --# 1 for a one time incident, # 2 for low grade, longtime infection. The tea renders the bladder wall too slippery for germs to cling to. Local herbalist recommends USNEA (tree lichen --liquid herbal extract (mushroom flavored liquor) and Huang Lian Su (little yellow tablets in little plastic tube in small box--product of China. Any Asian herb/market probably carries. USNEA from Herb Pharm, ,Oregon. Otherwise, The Herb Store. Lincoln City, Oregon has an 800 order line and ships anywhere. I don't get a discount--prices too low. Guest guest
You are right Arlene, we take it but not necessarily at the same time. Guest guest
Also, D-mannose developed by Dr. from Washington University in Tacoma can stop a UTI in its tracks within 2 days usually, even if it has gone into the kidneys. Remarkable product derived from a simple sugar. Best, Kathy [low dose naltrexone] Re: LDN >> I'm going to the Dr. this afternoon for what I believe is a bladder > infection. Guest guest
I'm not sure it's the best place but I purchased mine from Solaray and i believe it was around 24.00 a bottle. You could also try Swanson or the Vitamin Shoppe.
