Guest guest
I haven't tried it, but there's a bakery in Deland, FL that is supposed to have wonderful GFCF bread. If that's anywhere near where you are going in Florida, perhaps you can stock up. Janet in Illinois *** Message: 11 Date: Tue, 21 Aug 2001 13:57:54 -0000 From: pgharrison@... Subject: holiday in Florida - What about GFCF? We have two sons - one is autistic (), the other is not. Both enjoy theme parks - especially roller coasters (although they are a bit too young for the large ones). We've been to all the big parks in Britain now and want to try further afield, but have one concern: has been on a GFCF (gluten and casin free) and aspartame free diet for a few months now, and we are encouraged by the results. We make his own bread and cook his meals with only ingredients we know. Has anyone had experience on travelling to Florida and sticking to such a diet? In britain we've always taken enough bread to see us through, but this might be possible when flying! In particular, if foods are labelled Gluten/Casin free in the USA does that mean 100% free and not 99% free as it seems to in the UK?
