My son did the same thing. To help with the itches, I used Aveeno oatmeal

packets and mixed with a little water to form a paste. Put the paste on wet

hair and let it sit for a while to treat the itch. My son would sit in the

bathtub with it on his head while I cleaned his band and it really worked

well.

How do you help relieve the itching?

My dd has just started scratching herself practically raw in spots when

we take her helmet off. What can I do to help relieve the

itching...hydrocortizone cream?
