Guest guest
Since Sam's diagnosis I have been examining my other kids. Can a four year old be treated for this or is it too late? If anyone knows of much older kids getting treatment could you let me know? thanks very much. -denise-
Guest guest
I think it might depend on what band you use but for the DOC band im not sure that much past two is effective...please someone correct me if im wrong if they have had experience with an older child. I was under the impression that the childs head has for the most part grown. I was told by my clinician at my eval that in my case if i waited and in four to five years I realized that it got worse (Tori's facial assymetry) that if I wanted to fix it she would have to have plastic surgery...really the breaking point of my decision to get the DOCband. Hope I helped in someway but deff keep looking into it. > > Since Sam's diagnosis I have been examining my other kids. Can a four > year old be treated for this or is it too late?
