Ridge on my son's head and inch up

Hello, My son has been in the Starband for almost three weeks now. I took off his helmet to put on his shirt and noticed a ridge that is one inch above his neckline. it creates a trough in the middle of his head. It looks worse than his flat spot.Has anyone experience this?thanks
