Guest guest
The CI or Cephalic Index measures the severity of Brachycephaly. It equals the Cranial Breadth/Cranial Length ideal ratio - 78% normal - 73-83% moderate - 83.1% to 87.9% severe - 88% and higher So at a CI of 87.9% your son is in the normal range and does not have brachy. Positional Plagiocephaly is a flatness on one side of the head; the head may look like a parallelogram when you look at it from the top down. Plagio severity is measured by comparing the difference in the diagonal lengths of the head. 0-3 mm is normal <6 mm is very mild 6-10 mm is mild 10-15 mm is moderate 15+ mm is severe Did you son's doctor give you any measurement for this?
