I am struggling with the decision to wait one more month to see if my daughter's

head will

improve on its own or to get the band. During the past month of aggressive

repositioning it

has improved a little, but my daughter is 5 and a half months so I don't want to

waste time if

she will have to get the band any way. I feel so guilty because my daughter is

such a good

baby and don't want her to be uncomfortable or bothered by wearing a helmet all

of the

time- has anyone seen improvement without the band? Has your child adapted to

the band

easily?

I would say the band or wait decision depends a lot on age and

severity. If the plagio is not mild and the baby is young I might

wait, but do agressive repo, and take pics of the progress. However

if the plagio is more severe or the baby is older I would go ahead and

band.

do you have measurements? Also if tort is a problem I would band since

repo might be quite difficult.Basically the bottomline is if you're

likely to band anyway, sooner is better. If there is a good chance to

avoid banding, then give it a try.
