Guest guest
There is a Group for Torticollis that you may want to check out: Torticolliskids/ I personally would not be concerned with the lack of crawling at 6½ months old. My oldest son didn’t crawl until he was 10½ months old and he didn’t have tort. The age at which babies start crawling varies so much. However, you should definitely see a physical therapist for treating the torticollis. I did notice his face tilt towards left but always thought that was how a baby looks. I am really worried now because I heard band treatment may not get good results if this neck stiffness is not treated. And also heard that babies with this problem have delays in developmental milestones. My baby is 6 1/2 months and has just started rolling over. We think he is strong enough to crawl or sit but he cant do them. He can not sit with out support and is not able to crawl or atleast try crawling. I am thinking to call his pediatrician and ask him to refer to a physical therapist. Has any one of you had the similar problem ? Pls respond .. Any information would be very helpful.
