I am totally committed to the DS procedure, but if I had no other way (no

insurance, no personal funds) I think I would give the study serious

consideration. It would also depend on just how heavy you are. As a

super-obese person (475lbs), waiting is not much of an option for me

anymore. After I lose 70%, I will still be morbidly obese! I am figuring

an " ideal " weight of 140, which puts me needing to lose 360, of which 70% is

252, meaning I would still weigh 248.

Good Luck!

Dr. Anthone in CA takes Medicare, but he does only open DS.

Open DS with Dr. Anthone 7/6/01
