Has anyone had Medicare or Aetna USHC PPO cover the BPD/DS procedure? I do

have comorbids such as high blood pressure, Acid Reflux, high cholesterol,

bladder leakage/infection, swollen ankles/feet, trouble with household duties

like grocery shopping, lifting bags, carrying laundry. I am also short of

breath a lot. I was also wondering....does anyone know how much the BPD/DS

costs if i get it done in Spain self-pay with Dr. Aniceto Baltasar. Thanks a

Hi Doreen,

I have Medicare and they paid for their 80% and my supplemental paid the

remaining 20%. According to my doctor I just had to be over 40 BMI with one

co-Morbid.

Both my husband and I have medicare and they paid for the surgery. We also

have secondary and they picked up the 20% medicare doesnt pay except for the

drugs outside of the hospital.....

What were your comorbids? I have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, Acid

Reflux, bladder leakage/infection, and swollen feet/ankles. Do you think

Medicare will cover me. I am 330 lbs at 5'7 " and 23 yrs. old. Thanks a
