Question about Coronal Sutures with plagio

My son's dr. is concerned about his misshaped skull and I have noticed

myself that one of his coronal sutures is very well felt and can even

be seen through the scalp. It has about a cm width and feels deep,

while the other side I have to really feel around to find a slight

line at all. So what I am wondering is if any of your children were

this way with plagio. I fear it could be unicoronal synostosis

instead. We've been referred to a neurologist but I was just wondering

if there is a way to tell myself beforehand. I am also going to post

some pics of my little owen, he's 4 months old by the way. Any info is

appreciated.
