Your baby sounds a lot like my son at 7.5 mos. He was very opinionated and let us know if he was not pleased! He wouldn't allow us to put hats of any kind on him all winter. Well, we (very nervously) banded him at 7.5 months and he just graduated yesterday after 13 weeks! He adjusted surprisingly well. He never even seemed to notice it during the day at all unless we were taking it off or putting in on. At night, it probably took about a week, or maybe a few days more, for him to adjust. He had not been sleeping through the night prior to us getting the band but did start to after about a month in the band. I remember everyone saying how fast the time goes when we were waiting to get our band and it really is true! I don't know where the last 13 weeks have gone. Good luck!

My baby is getting her helmet on Monday. We are somewhat worried about her reaction. She is 7.5 months old, and lets us know when things are not to her liking...
